Detection of microorganisms
Detection of beverage spoilage microorganisms
Flexibly accredited according to DIN EN ISO 17025

Until now, the detection and identification of beverage spoilage microorganisms has been based on time-consuming, culturally selective enrichment. Only after at least five days does turbidity of the cultivated sample indicate an infestation with beverage spoilers, often too late to be able to take countermeasures in time. The PCR method now offers beverage producers the possibility of reliably detecting contamination with microorganisms at any point in the production process within just a few hours.
GEN-IAL® GmbH detects beer and beverage spoilage microorganisms quickly and reliably. The test systems used were developed and validated by GEN-IAL® and include bacteria, yeasts and molds. Screening, specific PCR systems and sequencing techniques are used. The verification procedures are continuously adapted to market requirements. We will be happy to assist you in interpreting the results on request.
Advantages of PCR diagnostics:
- Fast and specific
- Early detection of contaminations and biofilms (monitoring)
- Safety in production, filling and end product
