Our service offers qualitative and quantitative PCR detection of genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Both official standard procedures and validated in-house procedures are used.

The analysis results are usually available within 2-4 days, express on the same day. The methods used are validated and mostly in accordance with German (§64 LFGB) and European (DIN, CEN, ISO) standards.

The quality of the analyses is assured by regular participation in ring trials and proficiency tests.

As a member of the § 64 LFGB working group “Development of methods for the identification of food produced using genetic engineering methods”, GEN-IAL® is always up to date with the latest developments in GMO detection.

With this knowledge, GEN-IAL® supports customers with competent and individual advice on GMOs approved worldwide: import of non-approved genetically modified plants, traceability, labelling, new approvals, GMO-free labelling and much more. On request, we develop new analytical methods.
