Microbial DNA extraction from wine and must

The Simplex®easy wine DNA extraction kit is used for the quick and easy isolation of genomic DNA of bacteria, yeasts and molds from wine and must. It is suitable for the detection of wine spoiling bacteria and yeasts such as Dekkera bruxellensis, Oenococcus oeni or Lactobacillus.

Principle:

• Centrifugation of the sample
• For red wine, removal of inhibitory components (e.g. tannins, colorants) by means of special washing steps
