Data protection

Protecting your privacy in the processing of personal information as well as the security of all business information are important concerns that we consider in our business processes. Personal data collected during your visit to our website is processed confidentially and only in accordance with the statutory provisions (European General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR, EU 2016/679).

The following explanation gives you an overview of how we ensure data protection and what kind of data is collected and for which purpose.

Automatically stored data
When you visit our websites, the following data is automatically saved:

    Browser type / version
    used operating system
Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
Host name of the accessing computer (IP address)
    The visited websites
    Time of the server request

A personal reference is not possible and not intended. These data are collected only for data security purposes and for purposes of optimizing our website.  Any other evaluation of the data, with the exception for statistical purposes and then in anonymous form, will not take place.

Collection and processing of personal data
Personal data, such as your name, address, telephone number or E-mail addresses are only stored if you voluntarily provide them to us, for example in connection with a registration, a survey, a raffle,  carrying out a contract, ordering  information material or a newsletter, or if you otherwise actively contact us, for example by e-mail or online form. This means that it is entirely up to you to decide whether and which data you provide to us.

In the case of your express prior consent or on the basis of data protection permission standards, we also use the data for the purpose of advertising our own products and services. For this purpose, it may also be necessary for us to pass on your data to our distributors as part of order data processing. However, such disclosure will only take place if permitted by the applicable data protection law. The company GEN-IAL obliges the service providers in this case to comply with the data protection provisions in accordance with the Federal Data Protection Act. Your data will not be sold to third parties or otherwise marketed.

You may revoke your consent to the use of your personal data for advertising purposes at any time by telephone (*49 2241 2522980), e-mail (datenschutz@gen-ial.de), fax or by post. Responsible persons: Dr. Gabriele Muecher and Dr. Jutta Schoenling

Use of Google Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of the use of the website by you. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity for website operators, and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if required by law or as far as third parties process this data on behalf of Google. Google will never associate your IP address with other Google data. You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

The data collection and storage can be contradicted at any time with effect on future times. In view of the discussion about the use of analysis tools with full IP addresses, we would like to point out that this website uses Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp ()" and therefore IP addresses are only shortened to exclude a direct personal reference.

Information and disclosure rights
At any time you have the right to get  information about the data stored about you, their origin and recipient as well as the purpose of the storage. Information about the stored data is provided by the data protection officer at datenschutz@GEN-IAL.de

Our website may contain links to other providers to which our privacy policy does not extend.
